Leap Frog Solutions supports Prevent Child Abuse Illinois.

Prevent Child Abuse Illinois, is dedicated exclusively to the prevention of child abuse and neglect. It works with a variety of agencies to promote strong, healthy families.

As part of Leap Frog Solutions Community Support Program, Leap Frog Solutions will provide computer support and software assistance to Prevent Child Abuse Illinois free of charge.

"When I became aware of what Prevent Child Abuse Illinois was doing, I did not hesitate to contact them and let them know we would be happy to donate our skill and time. I am sure they thought we were crazy to show up for free, but we go out of our way to support groups like them," said Robert Delano, President of Leap Frog Solutions.

More than 100,000 children were reported abused last year in Illinois alone. Prevent Child Abuse Illinois seeks to correct this invisible American tragedy through public awareness campaigns, parent education and support programs, professional training and technical assistance, and community-based prevention programs.

What can you do to help in this cause?

• Learn how to recognize the signs of child abuse and ways to prevent it. Visit www.PreventChildAbuseIllinois.org.
• If you suspect child abuse, report it. The number to call for the Illinois Child Abuse Hotline is 1-800-25-ABUSE (Illinois).
• You can contribute donations on Line 28B of your Illinois State Tax Form. All donations received from Line 28B go directly to the Illinois Child Abuse Prevention Fund. Contributions to this fund may be made you are receiving a tax refund or not, and all contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law.
• Get involved in your own community and family. You can do this by urging policy makers makers to support prevention, volunteer at a local child abuse prevention programs, and try to be involved with your children.
