Leap Frog Solutions supports Junior Achievement's work with Peoria's youth.

June 6, 2004

Leap Frog Solutions Inc will donate their IT support services to Junior Achievement of Central Illinois as part of Leap Frog's Community Support Program.

Junior Achievement was selected as a Community Support Partner because of the important work they perform with Peoria's youth.

Junior Achievement is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to educate and inspire young people to value free enterprise, business, and economics to improve the quality of their lives. Since its founding in 1919, JA has contributed to the business and economics education of young people in the United States and throughout the world. JA's mission is to ensure that every child in America has a fundamental understanding of the free enterprise system.

"In order for America to survive in the 21st Century, we need to inspire the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs. Junior Achievement's programs are designed for this objective," commented Bruce Padmore, CEO of Leap Frog Solutions.

"It has been my experience that when Junior Achievement brings the real world know-how of the business community into the classroom, it makes the abstract and theoretical a relevant and lively course of study. The networking between community leaders and the schools has led to a better understanding of each environment and produced many positive collaborative efforts," stated Gerald Brookhart, Superintendent of Peoria County Regional Office of Education.
